13th Wine Law Confence: Transformation in Viticulture and Wine Trade

The conference will address the ongoing transformation of the German wine sector and the central legal questions arising in this context. Particular attention will be devoted to the challenges posed by climate change, evolving EU agricultural regulations, increasing sustainability requirements, and shifting patterns of consumer behaviour. In this regard, the programme will cover the reduction of vineyard areas, emerging labelling and sustainability obligations in the wine trade, as well as the agricultural and regulatory implications of modern breeding techniques.
